. For those of you who are not familiar with SHG (Self Help Graphics & Art), they are one of the few Los Angeles Chicano related instititutions that still exist from the Chicano Art Movement of the 70’s. I have made it out to Self Help Graphics annual print sale in 2009 when they were located in East Los Angeles (Cesar Chavez & Gage). It was a great experience to visit a building where some of my favorite artist have produced art under the same roof. If you are collector or just enjoy Chicano art, SHG is one of those intitituions you must visit. Most if not all Los Angeles Chicano artist have produced art at one time in their lives at Self Help Graphics & Art. This place is rich in Los Angeles and Chicano Art History. Support!
